Goessel only team to compete this week

The Goessel golf team competed Friday at Hesston Golf Park but because of some confusion was not entered for team awards or individual placing.

Noah Schrag led the team with 85, Levi Schrag followed at 95. Chevy Gagnon (104) and Luke Stucky (117) rounded out the scoring for the Bluebirds.

“I’ve been very pleased with Chevy and Luke the last few meets. Luke has cut around 20 strokes off so far this year and keeps improving,” coach Chad Lindeman said.

On Monday, at Pretty Prairie, Goessel placed fifth as a team out of 12 participating.

Noah Schrag tied for 11th with a score of 89. Levi Schrag was 18th with 94. Chevy Gagnon 28th with 99. and Luke Stucky 49th with 112.
