All four boys medaled Sept. 20 at Marion, with Devon LeRoy finishing sixth in the varsity race with a time of 19 minutes, 45 seconds.

Sophomore Nate Impson and freshmen Brody Schroeder and Zackary Guerrero finished sixth, seventh, and 11th respectively in a junior varsity race.

Julia Nightengale’s 24:56 time earned sixth for the girls’ varsity. Elyse Boden, Lauren Rymill, and Jennifer Meysing finished 13th, 15th and 17th.

Katherine Manis, Edel Miller, and Maria Fuster all medaled in the junior varsity race.

“Ten girls are still competing among the team for seven varsity spots,” coach Brian Lightner said.

Goessel will compete Thursday in the Berean meet at Harvey County East Park.
