Goessel’s Michal Holada had a productive week on the golf links, following up a second-place finish at Herington on Thursday with a championship round at Hillsboro on Friday.

Herington’s meet was rescheduled due to a rain delay, creating the unusual back-to-back meets.

Holada carded an 80 at Herington, and while he shot higher at Hillsboro, his 84 was good enough for first place.

As a team, Goessel took 410 strokes to get around the Herington layout, but shaved five strokes from that to place fourth at Hillsboro.
