At a home track meet April 10 in Goessel, the Bluebirds made progress as several athletes had their best marks of the season. Although the girls only scored 16.5 points, Ali Buller finished second in the 800-meter race and Brittny Czarnowsky earned second in the 3200-meter run with her fastest time of the season. Erin Brubaker earned points in three events and Tara Race picked up fifth place in the 800.

Five Goessel boys got into the scoring column, and 15 events showed the best performances so far this season as the young team matures in high school meets. Heath Goertzen picked up points in two events, with Davis Cook, Nathan Czarnowsky, Alex Schmidt and the 4x800 relay also adding to the 26 points scored by the Bluebirds.
