Grants available in Peabody

Charitable organizations’ applications for grants to enhance healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments in Peabody are being accepted until Jan. 5 by Peabody Community Foundation.

Size and number of grants will depend on the requests received.

This year, the foundation awarded 10 grants totaling $10,200, including grants for Hart Park playground equipment and renovation of the Peabody Historical Society’s print museum.

Applications are reviewed by a committee of three Peabody citizens and two foundation board members. Applicants must be tax-exempt charities or formally linked to such an organization.
