Velma Hadley accompanied her son, Brian, and family of Poway, California, on a cruise June 1 through 8 to Alaska with stops at Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. Afterward, Brian and family visited Moscow, Idaho, where they previously lived.
Kings Daughters from Durham Baptist Church met June 12 for their monthly meeting. Ashley Sheriden presented a lesson, and Anita Schmidt and Shirley Hamm were hostesses.
Visitors of Arlene Pankratz and Tim Dieners over the weekend of June 15 and 16 were Althea Zimmerman, Beth and Dianne from Missouri. A noon meal was catered as part of an open house for Pankratz’s birthday.
Kent and Emily Nichols and Jack and Marissa Dieners were also Tim Dieners’ weekend guests. There also were guests from Oklahoma, Colorado, and Missouri.
Leroy Schmidt from McPherson was a weekend guest for Father’s Day at Malvin Schmidt’s home. Malvina and Brittany Meinrichs from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma also were guests.
