Hajek family gathers for reunion
Descendants of Albert and Mildred Hajek gathered for a family reunion Labor Day weekend.
Saturday activities included lunch at Al’s Café in Lost Springs, a tour of the Lost Springs firehouse, and a hayrack ride around the Hajek farmstead and Old Lost Springs site.
A lunch gathering at Lincolnville Community Center on Sunday included games, learning more of Marion County history, reminiscing, and enjoying family.
Those attending throughout the weekend were Irene Waylan, Miami, Oklahoma; Byron and Cindy Waylan and Austin Waylan, Houston, Texas; Jeff and Ashley Barros, Bennett, Waylan, and Evelyn, Woodward, Oklahoma; Daryl and Mona Waylan, Cathy and Rachel, Little Rock, Arkansas; Jon and Lynette McLean, Josie, Maggie, and Cade, Hutchinson.
