Happy Hustlers

Noah Schmidt educated Marion Happy Hustlers on the different parts of a steer during the group’s virtual meeting Jan. 4 and Ruby Schmidt presented a talk on how to make peanut butter blossoms.

Twenty-one members, two leaders, and four parents participated in roll call by naming their New Year’s resolutions. Rylee Thomas led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Ruby Schmidt led the 4-H Pledge.

Ryker Salsbury reported that the group had $1,218.06 in its account and led members in a game of Heads or Tails. Jaxon Salsbury led members in singing “Happy Birthday” to January birthdays. They also sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”

A council representative meeting has been planned for January 11. The next meeting will be Feb. 1.
