Harms Residence Hall dedication is April 27

Tabor College will dedicate its newest residence hall, Harms Residence Hall, 502 E. B Street, at 11 a.m. April 27.

Following the ceremony and ribbon cutting, guided tours of the 16-unit facility will be available.

The building was made possible by a generous donation from Wilmer Harms, M.D. in honor of his late wife, Esther.

Harms has given regularly of his time, treasure, and talents to the school. He has been chairman of the board of the Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies since its formation in 1975. He also is a member emeritus of the Tabor College Board of Directors, having served from 1978 to 1996.

Harms has authored five books. As a dedicated student of Mennonite history, he has lead many educational tours to Russia.
