HES plans book fair
in school’s library

Hillsboro Elementary School will host a book fair next week in the school’s library.

The fair will offer a variety of children’s books, posters, activity books, calendar, cookbooks, and gift items along with computer CDs.

The fair is open to the public 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Oct. 13. During parent-teacher conferences Oct. 14, the book fair will be available until 8 p.m. and will close at 2 p.m. Oct. 15.

Profits from the fair will be used to purchase library materials, accelerated reader programs, and book prizes for the school reading program.
