Hillsboro High School Concert Choir performed May 9 during the Grand Old Gospel Hour in Branson, Mo., and they received a standing ovation for their performance. While in Branson, they also went on a backstage tour of the musical “Noah,” getting to see the live animals used in the show, the scene shop, 22,000-square-foot stage, and dressing rooms before watching the show. They saw a dinner theater show by a capella men’s group Six. Choir members raised funds for the trip by selling choir cards that grant discounts to local businesses.
