HHS class of 2009 receives awards

During Sunday’s Hillsboro High School commencement exercises, students were recognized for academic achievements with awards and scholarships.

Following are the awards and recipients.

Salutatorian: Clay Shewey.

President’s Award for Educational Excellence: Kelsey Bartel, Cody Blackketter, Nolan Dirks, Candace Ediger, Ben Gottsch, Abi Humber, Daniel Jost, Matthew Klenda, Shelby Koons, Cassie Kroeker, David Loewen, Brandon McMillen, Nicholas Mueller, Heidi Schroeder, Clay Shewey, Jet Skiles, Kim Spencer, and David Winter.
