HHS FFA places first in district events
The Hillsboro High School FFA livestock management and greenhand livestock judging teams placed first in their events at South Central District events April 7 at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.
Jacob Fish placed first and Ethan Frantz placed third in the livestock management competition. Frantz also placed fifth in livestock judging.
Lauren Geis placed first, Nathan Unruh placed fourth, Kale Arnold placed sixth, and Bryce Roberts placed ninth in the greenhorn — freshman — division of livestock judging.
FFA adviser Sonya Roberts was still waiting for results from other events Friday afternoon.
