The Hillsboro High School FFA freshman livestock judging team placed first in the freshman division Feb. 24 at South Barber High School in Kiowa.

Team members Maci Schlehuber and Lauren Geis individually placed first and second. Kale Arnold placed fifth, and Nathan Unruh placed sixth. Rounding out the team were Erin Loewen and Bryce Roberts.

HHS placed seventh in the upper division, with team members Seth Bartel, Jacob Fish, Ethan Frantz, Landon Herbel, Neal Kaiser, and Taylor Nikkel.
