HHS recognizes students
Luke Moore, Hayley Pankratz, and Courtney Weber have been chosen as Hillsboro High School students of the month for December.
Luke, a junior, participates in football, basketball, baseball, Spirit and Celebration, concert choir, H-Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Parkview Mennonite Brethren Youth. He enjoys lifting weights, singing, playing the piano, reading, and hanging out with friends. Luke plans to attend a four-year college and major in music or education. His parents are Jim and Donna Moore.
Hayley participates in tennis, Big Brothers Big Sisters, SNC, National Honor Society, H-Club, the fall musical and spring drama, forensics, Mennonite Brethren Youth, and FCA. The senior enjoys reading, running, and movies. Hayley wants to attend a four-year college and earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Terry and Kandis are her parents.
Courtney is involved in tennis, basketball, softball, Big Brothers Big Sisters, student council, yearbook, newspaper, NHS, and H-Club. She enjoys watching movies and being with friends and family. The junior would like to attend the University of Kansas or Emporia State University and major in elementary education. Eddie and Connie Weber are her parents.
