Hillsboro High school softball team will play in the first round of 3A state softball tournament Friday in Manhattan.

The Trojans, with a 22-1 record, are seeded second. Their first round opponent will be seventh-seeded Thomas Moore Prep-Marian of Hays, 17-6.

They will play at 5 p.m. at Field B of Twin Oaks Complex in Manhattan.
