Hillsboro High School students participated in a regional music festival April 6 at Tabor College.

Receiving I ratings were; the mixed trio (band); flute soloist Kennedy Klein; vocal soloists Ashley Bartel, Tyler Burst, Tyler Funk, Abigail Kliewer, Daniele Melton, and Daniel Nelson; Spirit-N-Celebration; SNC Women, SNC Men, and the mixed vocal ensemble. They will compete April 27 at the state music festival at Southeast of Saline High School.

Receiving II ratings were French horn soloist Allison Gray; vocal soloists Jordan Fryhover, Erika Just, Kate Litchfield, and Taytum Miller; and the men’s and women’s vocal ensembles.

Receiving III ratings were the clarinet quartet and clarinet soloist Marah Franz.

Band students are directed by Bruce Major. Vocal students are directed by Lynn Just.
