HHS students recognized
Three Hillsboro High School students were recognized as students of the month in May.
They are senior Matthew Wiebe and juniors Amy Bartel and Olivia Kliewer.
Matthew participated in football, wrestling, band, choir, and the musical. He also participates with Parkside Mennonite Church youth group and likes to spend time with friends. He plans to attend Tabor College and major in accounting. Jon and Ellynne Wiebe are his parents.
Amy participated in basketball, softball, choir, art, running, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She enjoys reading, playing the piano, and spending time with family and friends. She wants to attend college to become a nurse or nurse practitioner. She also is considering a minor in ministry. Wilmer and Marilyn Bartel are her parents.
Olivia has participated in FFA, Spirit-n-Celebration, and the fall musical. She enjoys showing horses, singing, and participating in 4-H. She plans to go to college, studying biology and musical performance. Daryl and Esther Kliewer are her parents.
