The Highway Patrol became responsible for the DUI investigation. Proffitt is waiting for the results of the test to be known and he will alert Marion County attorney Susan Robson.

The original report provided by the Sheriff’s office had the description of the accident blacked out because the KHP is currently investigating the DUI case. However, the Sheriff did not hesitate to submit the full public document to the Marion County Record when asked.
