Considered by many as the best show in the area, the Hillsboro Arts and Crafts fair might be the largest one in years.
Hillsboro Arts and Crafts Association director Brenda Wall said usually 30,000 to 40,000 people attend the event.
“I don’t have any concrete numbers yet, but I think it may have been even bigger this year than before,” she said.
Saturday’s fair offered shoppers 269 vendor booths and 24 concession stands.
“It’s always fun pulling it all together,” Wall said. “It’s runs like a well-oiled machine. It’s the best show and in my hometown. I look forward to it every year.”
