Hillsboro football players named duo of the week

Hillsboro football players Tyler Proffitt and Shaq Thiessen were selected the U.S. Air Strike duo of the week the week of Oct. 15 in Kansas by the U.S. Air Force.

Quarterback Proffitt completed 51 percent of his passes this season for 2,232 yards, with 25 touchdowns. Wide receiver Thiessen had 43 catches for 561 yards, with six scores.

As weekly winners, they are finalists for the Air Strike of the Year Award for Kansas.
