ield placed third overall at their home meet Monday, which was rescheduled due to rain on Friday.
Coach Dennis Boldt said that while the team overall had very good results, he felt the team has room to improve.
“We need to continue improving if we want to score well in the league and regional meet,” Boldt said.
While there is room for improvement, Boldt was happy with Monday’s results.
“We had a pretty good day in most of our events,” Boldt said. “Many medals were won and personal records set despite coming off of a weekend.”
Abby Sechrist placed 2nd in the 800 meter run, while Kennedy Klein placed 5th.
Marah Franz placed first in pole vaulting, while Sienna Kaufman took second.
Callie Linnens placed third in the discus throw.
Tassanee Sanchez placed 4th in the 300 meter hurdles, and third in high jump.
Mary Leihy placed 6th in the 3,200 meter run.
Girls 4x400 meter relay placed 6th.
In triple jump, Rebecca Kaufman placed 5th, and Eva Franz placed 6th.
For boys, Jonathan Hinerman placed second in the 1600 meter run, and third in the 3200.
Wesley Shaw placed third in discus throw, fourth in javelin, and fifth in shot put.
Travis King placed fourth in the 200, and Matthew Denholm placed fourth in the 300 meter hurdles.
Joe Knoll took fifth in the 400 meter dash.
Both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams placed fifth.
