Hillsboro High School TSA students win events at state
Hillsboro High School Technology Student Association brought back four first-place awards and two second-place awards from State TSA Conference, April 1 through 3 in Salina.
Nicholas Ediger placed first in flight endurance, Nathan Unruh won dragster design, Meghan Leihy placed first in music production, and Ben Loewen and Allison Troyer earned first in structural engineering.
Aaron Slater and Ediger placed second in structural engineering, Troyer and Ediger placed second in electronic research and experimentation, and Brett Mueller and Unruh placed fourth in structural engineering.
Ediger, Leihy, Loewen, Slater, and Unruh will compete at TSA National Conference June 28 through July 2 in Baltimore.
Ediger was re-elected state TSA president, and Slater was re-elected state TSA sergeant at arms.
