Hillsboro native wins second place
Hillboro native Hannah Bartel and her fellow architectural engineering and construction science seniors from Kansas State University won second place in four categories at the Architectural Engineering Institute’s Eighth Biennial Conference in Tysons, Virginia.
The students earned silver in electrical design, mechanical design, construction, and integration.
In the nine-year history of the international competition, Kansas State remains the only institution whose teams have won or placed in at least one of the categories each year it participated.
