Jan. 23: A theft was reported in the 100 block of North Madison Street. A harassment complaint was filed in the 800 block of East D Street when two males reportedly harassed a woman at her place of employment. A parking complaint was checked in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue.

Jan. 24: A funeral escort was provided. Transportation was provided to a transient. McPherson police received assistance with an investigation. A parking complaint was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street. A civil stand-by was provided in the 400 block of South Main Street. A dog complaint was checked in the 100 block of North Birch Street.

Jan. 25: Assistance with an investigation was provided to Social and Rehabilitative Services. A court services officer received assistance with an investigation. Assistance was provided to emergency medical services personnel with a possible combative subject at Tabor College. An individual was arrested in the 100 block of North Main Street on an outstanding warrant. Officers attended municipal court. A burglary was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street, when someone reportedly entered a residence and took prescription medications valued at $209.

Jan. 26: SRS received assistance with an investigation. A burglary was investigated in the 400 block of South Main Street, when someone entered a residence and removed checkbooks. An officer conducted a D.A.R.E. class at Hillsboro Elementary School. Assistance was provided to court services officers. A welfare check was provided in the 200 block of South Cedar Street. A dog complaint was checked at Grand and Ash streets. Suspicious activity was checked in the 100 block of North Main Street.

Thursday: An altercation between two peopled was reported in the 500 block of East Grand Avenue. Officers attended radar certification training. Criminal trespass and vandalism were reported in the 200 block of South Main Street; the individual reported someone entered a residence and damaged property belonging to the reporting person’s estranged husband. Charges are pending following a harassment complaint which was filed in the 400 block of South Birch Street; someone reported being threatened by two males at his residence. Harvey County sheriff received assistance in issuing a warrant. An in individual was arrested in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street on an outstanding warrant.

Friday: Assistance was provided to EMS personnel with a call in the 200 block of Eisenhower Street. McPherson police received assistance with an investigation. A suspicious vehicle was checked at Grand and Birch streets. City council packets were delivered. A welfare check was provided in the 600 block of South Main Street.

Saturday: A report of a vehicle possibly damaged by business equipment in the 400 block of South Cedar Street, was determined to be a civil matter. An officer assisted a coroner with an unattended death in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street. A property dispute in the 400 block of South Main Street was determined to be a civil matter. A trespass complaint in the 400 block of South Main Street also was a civil matter.
