June 28 — Assistance was provided to an EMS crew in the 200 block of North Main Street. The staff of Hillsboro Community Hospital received assistance. Missing property was reported in Memorial Park. A suspicious person was checked in the parking lot of Hillsboro Family Aquatics Center. A motorist received assistance at U.S. 56 and Kanza Road.
June 29 — A traffic hazard was removed on Park Avenue. Suspicious activity was checked in the 800 block of East C Street. An emergency message was delivered in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street. A Social Rehabilitative Services representative received assistance with an investigation. An animal welfare concern was reported in the 100 block of South Main Street. A dog complaint was filed in the 100 block of South Ash Street.
June 30 — Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks received assistance with an animal complaint. Officers qualified at the firearms range. Assistance was provided with a report of a suspicious vehicle on U.S. 56.
July 1 — An EMS crew received assistance with a call in the 500 block of East A Street. Access was made to a bank account through the Internet and money was removed. Court services officers received assistance with a home visit. Reckless driving was reported in Memorial Park. A domestic disturbance was determined to be a verbal dispute between an adult male and an adult female in the 300 block of West Grand Street. A parking complaint was filed in the 100 block of North Jefferson Street.
Thursday — Kansas Bureau of Investigation received assistance with an investigation. Hillsboro City Council packets were delivered. A civil stand-by was provided in the 300 block of West Grand Avenue. A sheriff’s deputy received assistance with an assault complaint at Marion Reservoir. An individual was cited for consumption of alcohol in the 600 block of West Grand Avenue.
Friday — Suspicious activity was checked on Willow Road. A civil stand-by was provided on Willow Road. Reckless driving was reported on West Grand Avenue.
Saturday — Missing property was reported in Memorial Park. A dog complaint was filed in the 100 block of North Madison Street. A report was made of the discharging of fireworks at people in the 300 block of South Ash Street.
