Jan. 23: Officers provided a civil assist. A harassment complaint was checked. A suspicious person was checked. The community service worker was assisted. Suspicious activity was checked. Officers assisted a motorist.

Jan. 24: There was a disturbance in the 100 block of North Main Street; An employee confronted an employer about wages not paid. Officers assisted Wisconsin authorities with an investigation. A person was fingerprinted for employment. A person reported he had a friend pick up his medications, however, the friend did not bring them to him.

Jan. 25: Suspicious activity was checked at the airport. A harassment complaint was checked in the 300 block of North Ash Street; a business employee reported being harassed by a customer on several occasions. A harassment complaint was taken in Hillsboro Heights. A business employee reported being threatened by a customer at work.

Jan. 26: A theft was reported in the 600 block of North Ash Street; a business employee reported someone shoplifting in store; charges are pending against an 18-year-old Hillsboro man. A harassment complaint was taken from Hillsboro Heights; a business employee reported being threatened by a customer at work. A dog complaint was checked. A parking complaint was checked. A harassment complaint was checked; a person reported that a former friend had threatened and harassed him by phone; harassment subject lives in another state and those authorities were notified of the investigation. A delayed accident report was taken in the 200 block of South Birch Street. A motorist was assisted.

Jan. 27: A dog complaint was checked. A commercial alarm in the 600 block of South Ash Street was checked. A traffic complaint was checked. A dog complaint was checked. A parking complaint was checked. Officers assisted the Marion County Sheriff’s office with a reckless driver.

Jan. 28: An animal dispute was broken up. A noise complaint was checked. Officers assisted Sheriff with an injury accident.
