March 1: A possible scam was reported. A shoplifing complaint was investigated in Hillsboro Heights; charges are pending. A drug odor was reported in the area of First and Jefferson streets. Officers assisted Marion County sheriff with an arrested warrant in the 500 block of East Grand Avenue.
