Nov. 6: Officers assisted Marion Police Department in recovering stolen property. A civil complaint was checked; it was a financial dispute over wages. A fire alarm at Tabor College was checked. Officers took a missing person report in the 300 block of East First Street; the subject was located several days later.
Nov. 7: Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff with a non-injury accident. Officers checked a report of dogs fighting in a yard near A Street and Madison Street. A theft was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street; a woman reported money had been stolen from her purse. A 911 disconnect was checked. Officers assisted Wichita Police Department with an investigation. A skunk complaint was filed. A child abuse case was reported; the initial report went to Wichita Police Department, but the incident occurred in Hillsboro.
Nov. 8: Officers assisted with traffic control on U.S. 56 for an extra-wide load being transported. A commercial alarm in Hillsboro Heights was checked. Suspicious activity was checked on South Main Street. Officers checked a commercial alarm in the 900 block of East D Street.
Nov. 9: A suspicious vehicle was reported. A parking complaint was filed. Officers assisted with a Social and Rehabilitative Services investigation. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff with an investigation.
Thursday: Officers worked a non-injury accident in the 200 block of South Madison Street. A non-injury accident was worked in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street. Subjects were fingerprinted for employment. A opossum was reported in the 300 block of North Jefferson Street. Officers assisted a motorist on Indigo Road. Suspicious activity was checked on Main Street.
Friday: Officers assisted Wichita Police Department with an investigation. A parking complaint was filed. Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff with a non-injury accident.
Saturday: Officers located a water leak. Civil questions in the 500 block of South Washington Street were checked. Officers assisted a motorist. A dog complaint was checked. An attempted forced entry was reported in the 100 block of North Ash Street. A welfare check was performed. Suspicious activity was checked on Main Street.
