Hillsboro police report

The following information was reported by Hillsboro Police Department:

June 10: A possible suicidal person was checked in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street. A domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Grand Avenue; a Hillsboro man was arrested for battery and booked into Marion County Jail.

June 11: Officer worked a non-injury accident at the intersection of D and Ash streets. A possible suicidal person was checked in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street. Several people were reported running down the middle of D Street in dark clothing.

June 12: The canine unit assisted Kansas Highway Patrol officers with a vehicle search. A person reported someone used his name to receive a UPS package. Officers disposed of a sick skunk. A report of several suspicious people was checked in the industrial park.

Thursday: A person reported the theft of a Stihl concrete saw. A person reported juveniles violating the curfew ordinance in the area of the 400 block of South Cedar Street.

Friday: A non-injury accident was worked at Adams and A Street. People on bicycles complained of being harassed by two females in a vehicle. A trespass complaint was reported in the 100 block of North Main Street; people returned home and found an intoxicated neighbor laying in front of their doorway. A domestic disturbance was reported in the 200 block of South Birch Street; a 41-year-old Hillsboro woman was arrested for battery.

Saturday: A domestic disturbance was reported in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue; a boyfriend and girlfriend were arguing over property. A possible intoxicated driver was reported in the 500 block of east D Street. An intoxicated person was reported passed out in his yard in the trailer court on Third Street.
