Several Hillsboro students participated in the Central Kansas League Music and Band Festival March 5 at Bethany College.

The following students received top ratings.

Allison Gray received a I rating for an French horn solo.

Erika Bichet, Marah Franz, and Hannah Funk received a I for their clarinet trio.

Marah Franz, Allison Gray, and Kennedy Klein received a I rating for their mixed winds trio.

The Hillsboro concert band received a II rating.

The following received a I rating: concert choir, men’s glee, Spirit-N-Celebration choir, SNC women, SNC men, mixed ensemble, men’s ensemble, women’s ensemble, and soloists Jazmene May, Vance Klassen, Claire Heyen, Daniele Melton, and Hannah Bostice.
