Emersyn Funk

The daughter of Jeff and Carisa Funk, freshman Emersyn Funk ran at the 2A state cross-country meet Saturday.

Emersyn stays involved with sports at school, including cross-country, basketball, and track. She also participates in choir, musicals, the Leadership, Experience and Opportunities club, student council, and the Hillsboro MB youth group.

In her down time, she likes drawing and baking.

After high school, she plans to attend a four-year college.
