Hillsboro High School vocal music students participated Feb. 29 in the league festival at Bethany College.

The Concert Choir received three I ratings. Spirit-N-Celebration, SNC Men, and SNC Women also received I ratings.

Soloists receiving I ratings were Harry Faber, Erika Just, Olivia Kliewer, Luke Moore, Katie Pritchard, and Molly Wiebe.

Soloists receiving II ratings were Hannah Bostic, Tyler Burst, Nick Ediger, Tyler Funk, Katie Kliewer, Kate Litchfield, Riley Loewen, and Karina Torres.

Ashley Bartel received a III rating.

Kliewer was awarded a 3-year medal for her performances with the Kansas Music Educators Association State High School Honor Choir. Only 15 to 18 students from the 254-voice choir are able to achieve the honor of making the state choir all three years they are eligible.
