Hillsboro swimmers win at Herington

Hillsboro’s swim team splashed to victory in a three-way meet Saturday in Herington.

Final point tallies gave Hillsboro 621 points to Abilene’s 505 and Herington’s 325.

“We are swimming really well,” coach Courtney Fast said.  “In all the longer distance events, we are winning almost every race. The experience on our team is helping us be a strong presence in the league.”

The Hillsboro team will compete next in a dual meet Saturday in Peabody.

“I am excited for these next couple meets to see where we are compared to other teams,” Fast said.
