Hinerman takes 4th at Berean Academy
Hillsboro cross-country team ran well Thursday at Berean Academy meet at Harvey County East Lake.
“I feel like overall this was one of the better meets of the season,” coach Robert Haude said. “For a couple of our runners, this was their best meet of the season.
Varsity boys’ runner Jonathan Hinerman led the pack placing fourth in a 5K at 18 minutes flat.
Abby Driggers was 32nd in a varsity girls’ 5K at 25:21.
In a junior varsity 5K race, Caleb Rempel took fifth for the boys and Millie Sechrist was eighth for the girls.
