Hillsboro Middle School choir students performed March 30 at the Mid-Central Activities Association league festival in Marion.

The seventh- and eighth-grade choir earned I ratings from all three judges. A I rating is “outstanding.”

All ensembles — mixed No. 1, mixed No. 2, mixed No. 3, seventh-grade boys, seventh-grade girls, eight-grade boys, and eighth-grade girls — also received I ratings.

“The kids did a great job,” HMS Choral Director Lynn Just said. “These are outstanding ratings. I am so proud of what they’ve accomplished.”
