Holiday lights contest now open

Registration for Hillsboro’s fourth annual Outdoor Christmas Lights Decorating contest is through Dec. 12.

Sponsored by Hillsboro Convention and Visitors Bureau, the contest is open to Hillsboro residents who register at the Chamber of Commerce office by calling (620) 947-3506. There is no entry fee.

The first 100 registered participants could win one of 25 prizes of $100 in Chamber Bucks.

Lights need to be on from 5 to 10 p.m. Dec. 13 and 15 for judging.

Winners will be notified online and by phone.
