St. Luke Hospital has two new faces in the physical therapy department.

Occupational therapist Mikaelyn Dick grew up in Henderson, Nebraska.

A Tabor College graduate, she played basketball for two years and earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training.

“In my time at Tabor, I shadowed at St. Luke Hospital in the therapy department and loved the feel of a small town hospital,” Dick said.

She then earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy at Rockhurst University, graduating in 2019.

“Being from a small town I knew that someday I wanted to serve in a rural area,” Dick said. “I am excited to be a part of serving Marion and the surrounding communities.”

Physical therapist Megan Stagner, a Little River native, earned an associate’s degree in science from Cloud County Community College, then a bachelor’s degree in science at Sterling College.

“I decided that I wanted to further my education and knew physical therapy was the path I needed to go down,” Stagner said.

She earned a doctorate degree in physical therapy at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, in 2019. Although Little River is a smaller town than Marion, Stagner said she likes the small-town atmosphere.

Her first day at St. Luke was Dec. 10.
