Carol Moulton

Services for Carol Jean Moulton, 86, who passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at Emmanuel Foursquare Church, 1325 E. Cloud St., Salina, with pastors Loren Houltberg and Blaine Herron officiating.

Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington St., Lindsborg.

Carol was born Nov. 1, 1935, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Alvin R. “Pete” and Ruby I. “Inez” (Adams) Schambron. She married C.R. Moulton on Aug. 19, 1956, in Marion.

Carol graduated from Marion High School before attending college at St. Mary’s of the Plains in Dodge City.

She worked as a licensed practical nurse at St. Luke Hospital in Marion and at Asbury Hospital in Salina.

Later, she worked at McCoy’s Christian Bookstore.

She was an active member of Emmanuel Foursquare Church in Salina, where she enjoyed helping in the kitchen with meals.

Survivors include husband C.R. Moulton; daughters Mary Kersey (and husband Neal) of Bennington, Jane Robertson (and husband Jon) of Salina, and Donna Moulton of Topeka; son John Moulton (and wife Jean) of Salina; Dana Hill of Salina, who was like a daughter to her, as well as 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Foursquare Church and sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N Washington St, Lindsborg KS 67456.
