Dale Crabtree

Memorial services will be announced later for Lindell Dale Crabtree, 75, who died July 25, 2020.

He was born Feb. 10, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Jim and Geneva Crabtree.

Dale grew up in California. After serving two years in the Navy during Vietnam, he moved to Kansas and eventually started working as a machinist at Boeing, where he met the love of his life, Veronica.

They married Feb. 28, 1981.

He was an avid sports fan. He loved the ocean and the Flint Hills, animals and watching birds. He enjoyed travel, gardening, cooking, and sharing his bounty with friends and family.

He was survived by his wife of 40 years, Veronica; daughter Amanda; son Brandon (and wife, Laura); sisters Diane and Sheila, and many nephews and nieces.

He is deeply loved and missed.

A joint memorial service will be held for Dale and his wife, Veronica.
