Dan Kyle

Family will gather with friends at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at Burns Catholic Cemetery for a committal service for Daniel William Kyle, 61, who passed away Dec. 26, 2023, at his home in Hillsboro.

Dan’s life began Dec. 20, 1962, in Marion. His parents were Glenn and Betty Jane (Walters) Kyle.

Dan graduated from Peabody High School in 1981. He served his country in the U.S. Army for a brief time after school and later worked for the City of Florence as a public works employee.

He was raised in the Catholic faith. He enjoyed historical reenactments, black powder rendezvous, and loading black gun powder.

Dan is survived by brother Bob Kyle and sister-in-law Denae of Peabody, nephews Braxton and Broderick Kyle of Peabody, and cousin Wayne Kyle of Texas.

His parents preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions in Dan’s name may be directed to the Father Kapaun Legacy Fund.
