Delbert Mellott

Delbert W. Mellott, 86, went to his heavenly home Aug. 11, 2023. He was born to parents Jewell (Hague) and Willis Mellott.

Delbert loved farming and spent his life doing it. He drove semi and tour buses across the country until he retired in 2011.

Delbert is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Pat; his brother Alan (and wife, Judy) Mellott; sister Carolee (and husband, Jerry) Foth, children Michelle Mellott, Ginette Huelsman, William (and wife, Lanette) Mellott, Jacqueline (and husband, Travis) Schuler, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Peabody Christian Church with Pastor Mike Ball presiding.

Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice and Peabody Christian Church and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
