Gail Dody

Services for Gail Dody, 85, who passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. North, Wichita.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Oct. 12 at Grant Township Cemetery, 2747 K-15.

Visitation with family will be 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Oct. 11 at Cozine Life Events Center.

Gail was born July 29, 1938 to Harry and Edna Dody on a farm east of Marion He married Sandra Higgins on Sept. 6, 1959, Together they had three children. 

When Gail was 18, he left his home in Marion and went to Wichita to work for Boeing Aircraft Co. 

He will be greatly missed by many people, especially his family, including wife Sandy; Kristi, Brian, and Brad; and his three daughters and their families, Elizabeth and Jordan; Audrey, Eileen, and soon-to-be baby boy; and Katie and Daniel, Bentley, Ava, and Kara.
