George Coe

Graveside services for George Andrew Coe, 69, who died unexpectedly Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home in Wichita, will be 1 p.m. April 7 at Marion Cemetery.

George was born June 14, 1953, in Wichita to Andrew J. Coe and Adelia Coe of Marion.

He graduated from Marion High School 1971, served in the Army, worked with law enforcement in Marion County and Sedgwick County, and later worked in food service, retiring as manager with Panera Bread.

George was married for more than 30 years to Wanda (Hett) Coe. She survives.

Other survivors include sister Becky Cameron (and husband Gary) of Kalamath Falls, Oregon; sister Cathy Patterson (and husband Bill) of Berryton; sister-in-Law Jan Coe of Salem, Oregon; sister-in-Law Gail Coe of Bel Aire; nieces Chris Coe, Kathy Coe, Holly Timmermeyer, Morgan Rexroat-Hett, and Samantha Hett; and nephews Andy Coe and Kyle Hett.

His parents and brothers Bruce Coe and Jim Coe preceded him in death.
