Sue Cameron

No services have yet been scheduled for Mary “Sue” Cameron, 79, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, in Marion.

Born Jan, 2, 1943, in Milwaukee to John C. and Louise M. Bell, Sue graduated from St. Mary’s of the Plains College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She worked in nursing for many years, including at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Newman Regional Health and as director of nursing at Schowalter Villa and St. Luke Living Center.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Larry Cameron.

Survivors include sons Jeff Klun (and wife Amy) and Todd Klun (and wife Denise); granddaughter Ashley Klun; great-granddaughters Amayah, Lana, and Elle; and step-daughters Holly and Bonnie Cameron.

Sue was a very gifted quilter and loved to make quilts for her family and friends. She also was great with other aspects of needlework.
