Tony Steele

A private family service is planned for Tony Edmond Steele, 49, Marion, who died Dec. 25 in Marion.

Tony’s life began Sept. 23, 1970, the son of Albert Lee and Virginia Kay (Amick) Steele, in Junction City, Kansas.

He graduated from Thayer High Class of 1989, where he was a running back and quarterback in football and also played soccer. He was a construction carpenter, handyman, and avid fisherman and hunter and had a gardener’s green thumb.

His loving family includes his children, Kory Steele of Orlando, Florida, Tray Steele, and Trevin Steele and wife, Alexandria, all of Chanute, Kansas; parents, Albert and Kay Steele of Marion; siblings, Alan Steele, Kevin and wife, Tina Steele, all of Marion, and Rod Steele of Willard, Missouri; a granddaughter, Everleigh Ella Rae Steele; and several nieces and nephews.
