Incumbents run uncontested

Hillsboro City Council members Shelby Dirks and Byron McCarty both will be running uncontested for their spots on city council.

Dirks again filed for his spot representing Ward 1 while McCarty filed for Ward 2.

The deadline to file was noon Tuesday. Elections are in April 1.
