Irene A. Ratzloff, 82, died Oct. 11 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Peabody to Maurice and Mary Knust Ducommun. She was retired as St. Luke Hospital Cook of 42 years.
She married Perry Ratzloff on June 13, 1950.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Lloyd of Lehigh, Curtis of Marion, Victor of Marion, and Stuart of Marion; four daughters, Colleen Loyles of Halstead, Marlys Plett of Hillsboro, D’Elda Juhnke of Moundridge, and Trudy Slifer of Marion; one brother, Junior Ducommun of Valley Center; four sisters, Mary Lou Hazlett of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Judy McDonald of Edgewater, Colo., Norma Teston of Reidsville, Ga., and Ann Britton of Florence; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation with family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Alexanderfeld Church of God in Christ Mennonite, Hillsboro. Interment will be in Eden Mennonite Cemetery, Burns.
