Iris Kephart

A private family memorial service for Iris L. Kephart, 81, Marion, who passed away Friday at St. Luke Living Center will be held at Marion Cemetery.

Iris’s life began Oct 1, 1938, in Burwell, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Willis and Doris (Umstead) Scofield.

Iris was a homemaker and a mother who enjoyed raising her daughters. She loved her cat and lived her life simply to the best of her ability.

Her loving family includes her daughters, Terri (and husband Marty) Frederickson and Tamara Blome, all of Marion; grandchildren Brett and Brody Blome; and brother Irvan (and wife Carolyn) Scofield of Broken Bow, Nebraska.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Barbara Carpenter.
