The upcoming marriage of Jana Wiebe, daughter of Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, to Brad Millsap of New Plymouth, Idaho, was announced at the Morning Star Church. The wedding will be on Feb. 9.
Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Wayne and LoraLee Wiebe and family, and Travis and Sharon Koehn and family were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Joseph and Brenda Johnson and family of Faunsdale, Ala., were overnight guests of Richard and Charlotte Wiebe on Nov. 26. Some of the local family came to visit with them that evening, also. On Nov. 28, dinner guests of Richard’s were Troy and Marla Wiebe and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, Caryln and Jackie Wiebe, Marlin and Bethany Wiebe and Jessami, Arlyn and Kalynda Wiebe, and Roy and Nadine Davis.
Newt and Maria Jantz and Gavin spent most of Thanksgiving week with Wendell and Linda Wedel. Travis and Connie Becker and family and Greg and Charlene Wedel and family joined them during the Thanksgiving holidays when the family all helped Wendell celebrate his 60th birthday. Newt and Marie left for their home on Dec. 1.
Jason and Sheri Wiebe invited Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family, Bryan and Rebecca Thomas and family, and Rayletta Ratzlaff to be their dinner guests Nov. 28.
Craig and Deanne Becker and Caleb of Texline, Texas, were overnight guests of their grandparents, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, on Nov. 30. Additional visitors that evening were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, and Bryan and Rebecca Thomas and family. The Beckers left on Dec. 1 for a family get-together at Burns.
Roy and Nadine Davis went to Omaha, Neb., and Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Nov. 29 and 30. They visited several museums on trains. The trip was in celebration of Roy’s recent birthday.
Merlin and Karletta Wiebe had Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Lela Wedel, Anthony and Beth Wiebe and family, and Kendall and Susie Wiebe and Abigail as dinner guests Dec. 1.
Larry and Wanda Koehn took a turkey to share with relatives on Thanksgiving Day to the home of Lena Koehn in Newton. Other guests were Howard and Iris Eck, Kara, Brianne Havilland, the Shannon Eck family of Greensburg, and the Kelly Warkentine family of Thomas, Okla. Larry and Wanda, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, and Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family went to visit Crystal Koehn Dec. 1 at Moundridge Manor.
Sarah Unruh spent the holiday weekend at the home of her parents, Mark and Barb. A weekend visitor of Sarah’s was her friend, Andrea, from Ohio.
